SAFETY TIPS

  3. Never climb trees near power lines.
  4. Never climb electric poles or electric towers.
  5. Stay away from electric substations and equipment.
  6. Do not go near downed power lines. Tell an adult if you see a fallen line and keep everybody away.
  7. Never touch a person or a thing that is in contact with a fallen wire.
  8. Never use electric appliances near water.
  9. Never overload outlets.
  10. Never put things in electrical outlets. Plastic safety covers are a good idea to install.
