LUS takes great pride in the safe and reliable service that we provide to our customers by monitoring our system around the clock; however, the effects of Hurricane Gustav may have caused disruption in your utility service.
LUS is currently experiencing scattered isolated outages and we appreciate your patience as we do our best to restore your service. LUS crews and many additional out of state crews are currently working to restore power to our area.
As of Thursday evening, less than ½% or 153 LUS customers are without power. If you do not have power, we ask that you please call 337-291-5700 or text/e-mail outages@lus.org.
LUS expects to have all power restored by tomorrow afternoon, to customers who are able to receive power. If customers are unable to receive power from LUS, they will need to contact an electrician.
