Residential garbage service is contracted by the Lafayette Consolidated Government Department of Public Works-Environmental Quality Division with Allied Waste Services (formerly known as BFI Waste System of North America). Residential recycling service is contracted by the Lafayette Consolidated Government Department of Public Works-Environmental Quality Division with The Recycling Foundation.

Contact the following agencies for information regarding curbside garbage collection and recycling, including holiday collection schedules, composting, and disposal of various products:
