For over 100 years, LUS has been delivering quality, dependable, low-cost utilities to the people of Lafayette. Now, we're taking technology to the next level with the proposed expansion of our existing fiber optic network in order to provide more affordable, high speed Internet, cable TV, and telephone service to our community.

Aside from better quality, lower cost telecommunication services, the proposed fiber to the home and business network would prepare Lafayette for the future—helping us attract new businesses and create jobs, keeping our existing businesses competitive, providing Lafayette with world class health care and a whole new world of educational opportunities, and enhancing the quality of life for all our citizens.
